Evaluation of a Miscible Gas Flood in a Low Net-to-Gross Reservoir |

Alies Bartelds of BP Exploration investigates the efficiency of a hydrocarbon miscible gas flood in a low net to gross North Sea reservoir (co authors James Chesher and Mark Mansfield) (bartela@bp.com) In this article, there are the following sub-sections:
Introduction - In order to evaluate the efficiency of a hydrocarbon miscible gas flood in a low net-to-gross North Sea oil reservoir, two fine scale geologic sector models were built to capture the extremes in reservoir quality. The primary control on reservoir quality is sand body size, orientation, and connectivity. The other key uncertainties are two-phase and three-phase relative permeability functions, miscible injectant (MI) composition and slug size.
