ERDU-LED – Oil & Gas – Maximising Recovery Programme (OG-MRP)

Issue 10, June 2005

Tissa Jayasekera OBE (tissa.jayasekera@dti.gsi.gov.uk) is Manager of DTI's ERDU-LED - Oil & Gas – Maximising Recovery Programme.

Firstly, an explanation of the name change above is needed. ERDU stands for ‘Energy Resources Development Unit’. LED stands for ‘Licensing Exploration and Development’ as before.

The advisory committee ACHARR conducted an email discussion in December 2004, and one of the items agreed was the list of R&D themes to be included in the flier for the call for 2005 JIP proposals. The call went out in February 2005 and we received 18 proposals. A meeting of ACHARR is planned for 7 July 2005 for final review and selection for funding. The list of successful proposals will be included in the next issue of IOR Views.
