ACHARR Approved Proposals
The advisory committee ACHARR met on 7 July 2005 to review 18 proposals submitted in response to our 2005 call for JIP proposals. The following proposals were approved for DTI funding, subject to sufficient industry support being secured (the email address of the Project Leader is shown for anyone interested in joining or requiring further information on the project):

Note that there are articles relating to five of these projects in this issue of IOR Views.
DTI IOR Dissemination Seminar 2006
The DTI IOR Dissemination Seminar will again be held jointly with DEVEX, in May 2006, at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. See the official notification from the organisers.
CO2 Capture and Sequestration with EOR
Those interested in CO2 Capture and Sequestration with EOR should look out for the update on ‘UKCS CO2 Injection Potential’ on the OG-MRP website (www.og-mrp.com), early in 2006. This will have updated estimates for IOR and Sequestration potential, taking into account the latest view of ‘Cessation of Production (COP)’ from the major fields and some recent in-depth work on individual fields.
