The IEA EOR Collaborative Agreement – 23rd Annual Workshop and Symposium, was held in Caracas, Venezuela on 8-11 September this year (2002). This is a long running annual event held under the auspices of the IEA. Presently there are twelve member countries (Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Japan, Norway, Russia, U.K., U.S.A. and Venezuela) and three 'observer' countries (Brazil, Hungary and the Netherlands) that are engaged in sharing the results of the EOR research done through their respective national programmes. The programme for this year’s event is available on the IEA website (http://www.iea.org/eor) and shown below The UK delegation consisted of Tissa Jayasekera and Professor Ali Danesh of Heriot-Watt University (rather depleted from previous years but nevertheless we presented the requisite number of papers).
